Nocturnal Stillness

From my first collaboration with Πέρσα (Persa) - April 23rd 2005


Tech info:
This was shot with medium format film (ISO 100) from up close due to lack of space with a wide angle lens and a narrow cone flash. Aperture 22, Speed 500.
Photoshop: Cropped a bit of the top because I didn't like how the light made an almost perfect circle. Airbrush/filter/colour burn 19% opacity (colour=black) all over the photograph.
Reduced the yellow saturation because the scanned negative made her skin look a lot more yellow than it really is, and reduced the blue saturation because the sheet looked a bit violet when it is actually grey. So the colours now look a lot closer to the real thing.
The dust & dirt was not removed because I prefered to keep it. The same goes for the reflection of the flash on the bronze surface (upper right).
